President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Yassine Hamza is co-founder and president of Laaq Inc. For Mr. Hamza, understanding the issues at stake and being on the lookout for development opportunities allows him to fully assume his responsibilities and meet the challenge, Mr. Hamza, holds a national diploma of agricultural engineer in Tunisia since 2001 and a higher specialized diploma in Environmental Engineering from the École de technologie supérieure de Montréal. In 2019, Mr. Hamza graduated with a Master's degree in Administration Sciences, MBA, Business Administration from Laval University.
He worked as a technical director in several large agricultural farms and later became a manager in a food distribution chain. In 2014, Mr. Hamza joined the Logiag team where he held several positions, first as environmental projects advisor, then as director of Logiag Africa. Mr. Hamza has been a member of the Ordre des agronomes du Québec since 2012.
Vice president
Mr. Walid Sayeh is co-founder and vice-president of Laaq Inc. Mr. Sayeh is known to surround himself with competent people to carry out his projects. His adaptability, interpersonal skills, and communication skills have often led him to senior management positions within the organizations where he has been involved. Mr. Sayeh holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from HEC Montréal and has solid experience in finance and investment. He has held a variety of positions as a financial security advisor, general manager, investor and director.
